My Rubbish Cornish Paddle

Back in July 2021 I did my first training paddle. I was already going around telling everyone I was going to circumnavigate Great Britain but in truth I hadn't camped in a small tent for 15 years, had minimal experience of paddling in the sea and was not used to paddling on my lonesome. Thirteen days after I had started out on the river Tamar I reached the North Devon border, it was a sublime experience thanks in part to the best spell of calm and sunny weather Cornwall had experienced for a couple of decades.   The Big Day Approaches Time has a habit of creeping up on you, the ABBAthePaddle launch date is perilously close. I have been rather busy with DIY of late and updating this blog has been a very low priority.
